About Me

Jian Wang is a Ph.D. student at Case Western Reserve University.

His current research area is in network infrastructures at CWRU. He is still working on operating system kernels, especially application layers and distribution computing.

Jian receives his master’s degree from Binghamton University in NY. His undergraduate research in the Undergraduate Innovation Lab and the Computing Center was related to Data Center Maintenance, Service Reliability, and Mobile Operating Systems. As the champion of the Microsoft Office Specialist Worldwide Championship 2017 in China, he also provided referee service in 2018 and 2019 in Microsoft Office Specialist Worldwide Championships in China, as well as the National Computer Application Competition in 2018 and 2019.

Jian worked in Tsinghua Unisgroup’s cloud branch as the Executive Assistant of R&D department.

In his spare time, Jian likes to read comics, play Werewolf, Spinning or going to Float Fit at the gym.
